How it works

Six dials. Moving one applies at once and restarts the agent — about two seconds — and starts a fresh conversation with it.

Time zone

Where you are. The agent keeps its clock, its mornings and its reminders in it — not the server's. You can also just tell the agent where you live and it sets this itself. Changing it here restarts the agent.

Model

Which model answers when the brain dial is at Default. Blank means the account's default.

Editing passes

Grounding pins dates and what you already said. The critic trims a reply that repeats you or asks twice; turn it off for a voice you want unedited.

What the agent asked for

Dials the agent may not move on its own. Allow moves the dial and restarts the agent, like moving it yourself; Deny only answers.

Channels

Where else the agent can be reached — with your own bot or mailbox. A conversation started on one of these stays one thread, and the agent stays on while any is connected.

Your own model

A key you already pay for — a MiniMax subscription, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — for the agent's chat and reasoning. Images, search, memory and files stay on Hoq.

Who it is

Its character and standing rules — the file the agent reads before every turn. Kept in your Hoq Storage with every earlier version.
